STL attend WOBA launch

The 2019 West Oxfordshire Business Awards (WOBAs) were declared open for entries by MP Robert Courts at the launch event held at the Cotswolds Hotel and Spa on 25th September. Over 130 business people gathered to hear past entrants share their experiences of entering and what a difference winning a WOBA award makes.

The overall winner will receive the STL West Oxfordshire Business of the Year Award 2019 and will receive a bespoke trophy designed by students from Abingdon and Witney College and made by Synolos.

WOBA 2019 has 13 awards with 11 categories and businesses can enter as many as they like for free before the midnight deadline on Monday 3rd December 2018.  The categories are:

Bill Smith, STL’s FD who attended the launch event said, “STL enjoys being part of the thriving business community in West Oxfordshire and it was encouraging to see so many of them supporting the WOBAs.  The WOBAs enable businesses of all sizes to share their pride in their achievements.”
