Tribute to Sue Wall
Sue Wall, a member of the STL finance department for 5 years, passed away on 12th September 2017 after a short illness.
Sue started working at STL in 2012 and quickly became a popular member of the busy finance department. As Credit Controller, Sue was well known to customers and suppliers, who valued her friendly approach and bubbly personality on the phone, even when chasing them for money.
Sue was an active member of the STL team, enjoying the social events that are part of the STL family ethos. Her fun loving attitude ensured she was good company at events like the West Oxfordshire Business Awards and the Oxfordshire Business Awards. She was also up for anything and game for a laugh. She enjoyed helping raise money for charity with cake baking sales, fancy dress days and shaking buckets for charity. Sue came on the Twin Town Challenge from Witney to Le Touquet as part of the STL support crew in 2014 which has now raised over £500,000 for Charlbury based charity SpecialEffect.
Sue, who was 62, leaves a husband, two sons and 12 grandchildren.
Brendon Cross, STL’s managing director said, “Sue was a fun-loving and caring member of the STL family who will be missed by colleagues, customers and suppliers. All our thoughts and sympathy are with Sue’s husband Bruce, their children and grand-children.”
